RACO Motors -
from a modular system
Sophisticated production installations increasingly require intelligent drives that have been designed for specific applications. Moreover, it must be possible to integrate these drives into existing systems.
The new generation of RACO motors will fulfil the most discerning requirements in this respect.
They are available as three-phase motors in the sizes 56 to 132, and as alternating-current motors in the sizes 56 to 90. The 2-, 4- and 6-pole motors are available in different designs and power ratings of up to 7.5 kW.
All RACO motors of this series are suitable for operation with a frequency converter. Due to the specific RACO modular system users can also additionally select numerous sensory options so that these motors can be precisely customized to specific applications.

The electronic components, such as the RCM 100 control unit or the LME connecting module, complement the comprehensive range of accessories. The start-up electronic unit ensures powerful, fail-safe starting of any single-phase asynchronous motor. The electronic circuitry can be installed in an additional accessories housing, directly on the item of equipment or by way of a separate terminal box or switch cabinet. The flexible set-up of the modular system ensures that individually assembled industrial motors can be supplied at short notice ex work.
