DMU / Potentiometer - actual position value transmitter

The DMU actual value transmitter and the angle-of-rotation potentiometer record the position of linear actuating drives and the angular position of turn actuators. The position transmitter records the absolute position, i.e. it is not necessary to make a reference trip even if there is a power failure. 

Upstream gear stages record ranges of rotation angles going beyond 360°. With electromechanical actuating drives, the entire linear path/ranges of rotation angles is mapped by the corresponding gear reduction within 360°. Furthermore, you can build in up to 6 adjustable limit switches for final and intermediate positions in the gear stage. You can also use adapters to mount these accessories to almost all of RACO's linear devices.

The actual position value can be used to create a closed loop position control by the RCM 100 control module. The positioning operation is based on the data comparison between set and actual value (3 Position-controller). Even electrical synchronized movement for two or more actuators can be controlled by the RCM 100:
