Multiturn - Encoder

The multiturn encoder allows with the high resolution an exact positioning operation for the linear actuator, without any reference travel prior start up.

According to the customers requirements position sensors with serial interface (SSI) or field bus interface (profi-bus or CAN-bus) can be provided. For most types of actuators a rack for the sensor adaption can be realized even in a closed special sealed housing.

Servomotors will be operated by a multi turn encoder instead of using the internal resolver. For high precise positioning application the axial play of a gear can be eliminate by a direct coupling to the screw shaft or via belt drive in accessory housing type “D”.
